Authorities have said the couple drove the girl 168 miles south to their home in Antioch and held her prisoner there for the next 18 years, four months and 16 days. At first, she was locked in the shed, then confined to a series of tents she would come to share with the daughters fathered by Phillip Garrido and delivered by his wife.

PLACERVILLE, Calif.& 160; A California woman who was kidnapped and held captive for 18 years says she was so afraid of her abductors that she never tried to escape.

Following the arrest, police extensively searched the Garrido house for evidence of other crimes. Because Phillip Garrido had access to his neighbor’s house, it was also searched for evidence. Police also searched the homes and business of one of Phillip Garrido’s printing business clients. Between September 15, 2009, and September 22, 2009, police agencies from Hayward, California, and Dublin, California, conducted searches of the Garridos’ property investigating missing girls from those communities. The results of the search turned up no clues to the disappearances of the girls. However, Hayward police have recently announced that Garrido has not been eliminated as a suspect and is still a person of interest in the case of Michaela Garecht. The El Dorado County District Attorney, who prosecuted Garrido, has said he believes that Garrido is responsible for Michaela’s kidnapping.

The Garridos’ home on Walnut Avenue is in an unincorporated area in northeast Antioch. A neighbor of the Garridos said he recalls, as a child, meeting Dugard through a fence in the Garridos’ yard soon after the kidnapping. He said that she had identified herself by the name “Jaycee” and that’s when he asked her if she lived there or was just visiting, she answered that she lived there. At that point Phillip Garrido came out and took her back indoors. The Garridos later built a privacy fence around the property, which already had several large trees in the yard.

But she isn’t, and there isn’t a picture of her in our subscriptions where she is. So what could’ve been a cute, girly-with-an-edge take on tartan, had she seemed to enjoy herself in it, suddenly becomes, My agent lost a bet with Gerard Butler and so now I have to star in a new West End ballet called Scotch Leg about three generations of Scottish haggis makers and the women they love. And I HATE haggis. Except Paul Haggis. And even then I’m not sure. God, this acting thing is hard sometimes. Do we think JK might change her mind and write Harry Potter and the Mid-Life Crisis Motorbike? Please?

I think the jacket is too not-fitted. It turns the outfit into a triangle shape that I’m not loving. If it were zipped, or tailored, or something, then I probably would like the combo. Maybe that’s why her expression is so sour grapes.

She is wearing a droopy leather jacket with a Catholic school-girl uniform with muppet hair at the bottom. This is decidedly not cute, but drab. And even in the dress, she kind of looks like a boy here. No. Not drinking the Kool-Aid today.

I think the jacket just needed to be a little bit shorter, so it hit at the waist of the dress instead of where the skirt is already flaring, for this to work. Fix that and I think it would look great.

There’s something fun about putting androgyny in a frilly dress and leather jacket, but it doesn’t really work with THIS dress. I kind of wish they’d gone all out and put her in menswear.

preteen clothes on post teen people just look wrong. And it looks more like an old fashioned ice skating outfit. Maybe the movie is really about Scottish skaters?

It looks amazing. I think the only problem is that this is the sort of look that works in a dark bar or atmospheric street scape. It just wasn’t made to pose prettily in front of a white screen patterned in GQ s. Give it a chance.

I think she looks very pretty, but I love tartan, and I love big flaring skirts, and I also love Emma Watson. So. I have to agree with Linda, though, a little bit of lipstick would have done wonders.

Yes, she needs lips and I don’t like the slicked hair, I just want to take my fingers and rough it up a little. The hair, not the lips. I voted cute for the outfit because doggone it, it is CUTE. A different jacket maybe. I don’t think it makes her look fat. And she is young! Let her be young.

The jacket’s not quite right, and I’m with witjunkie, rough slightly spiky hair would make a big difference here, but honestly, I think she should pass this off to Helena Bonham Carter next time they run into each other. And Helena will wear it with a sort of Gothic hunting jacket and maybe some pantaloons, and it will look gorgeously wack on her.

Emma is cute, but it’s a plain sort of cute, and she doesn’t have the bold attitude to pull off anything even this gently odd. She is better served by a more classic style.

I love it all, and I especially love that you could potentially wear this on a red-carpet then ditch the awards early to hit up a punk show or metal bar without looking too overdressed. Daisy Lowe or Leona Lewis definitely could not have done that

I saw dozens of pics of her smiling in this outfit, so perhaps we shouldn’t be too down on her besides, when’s the last time you saw any criticism of a famous male actor for not smiling? Hmm?

I’ve seen photos of her in this outfit where she smiles, and she looked gorgeous. And the outfit looked better. I think the lighting in this shot is terrible though, so maybe the better light in the other photos also helped.

The kills are great but the film raises a lot of questions but provides no answers. They’ll probably be answered in the next movie. Great for the gore but the story is very lacking.

I thought the movie was a mess. With all the verite camera work, the bad acting from Thomas Dekker, Danielle Harris and im sorry Brian Austin Green, this was a terrible horror movie. The kills were great, but sometimes a little bit dumb, like the 3 cops near the end. That was just stupid. I give this movie a 2.5/10, its really one of the most terrible horror movies of 2011.

who cares that Laid To Rest 2 has bad acting? Nobody watches a slasher flick for acting. you wouldnt care if porn has bad acting. The killer and the deaths are the only reasons to watch slashers. If the killer is scary and the deaths are gory and creative, thats all that should matter.

Damn, Decent FX but everything else about the movie was pure crap. I mean, as horror fans I know we are hungry for good movies, but damn…when we get to the point that we are so hard up to like horror we scrape the bottom of the barrel like this…it’s just sad. And yes, acting and story do count in a slasher movie. Well, except to the people who made this film.

Because tile grout is porous, it can soon become a favourite breeding ground for mildew, germs, and bacteria. Not only is this a health hazard, dirty grout will also make your bathroom look embarrassingly unclean.

To prevent dirty tile grout, apply a grout sealant to new grout. If your grout is already dirty, you’re going to have to get it clean before you seal it.

Your best options for cleaning grout are steam cleaning, or bleach and water. If you decide to rent a steam cleaner to clean your grout, it shouldn’t take you more than 20 minutes to clean the entire bathroom.

If you’d rather opt for bleach and water, use three parts water to one part bleach. Apply it to your grout and use a scrubbing brush or cloth to clean try not to scrub too hard, or you could end up accidentally removing some of the grout.

Touching things like the toilet handle, the faucet, and the soap dispenser can easily be blamed for the spreading of germs and sickness. A great way to break the cycle of bathroom germ spreading is to install some hands-free bathroom items. An automatic soap dispenser, faucet, and even a paper towel dispenser can really help to cut down on germ contamination. It may not be completely practical for homeowners to install automatic faucets and such but starting out with a battery powered soap dispenser may not be a bad idea.

Indeed, these days we aren’t seeing the full bombshell on Fox’s arm, but rather a faded one, like a photo of Marilyn that’s been left out in the sun. Is that really what passes for tattoo removal? I found out. I also found out why so many stars are really getting their ink blasted. The intel may surprise you, because, heck, it surprised me …

Fox, of course, isn’t the first star to try removing or altering a tat. Angelina Jolie famously removed a tattoo of ex Billy Bob Thornton and replaced the image with a tribute to her children. Paris Hilton went through laser removal to get rid of a tattoo honoring ex Nick Carter. Charlie Sheen got Denise Richards’ name removed from his wrist. As for Fox, she says she’s removing the Marilyn ink because it conjures “negative” energy.

The results of Fox’s removal efforts seem almost wasted. After all, in the most recent photos, we still, clearly, can see a Marilyn on Fox’s arm. In fact, rarely do we ever see photos of a celeb tattoo that has been removed with complete success. So does that mean that a tattoo is totally forever?

No. According to Ian Kirby of the Beverly Hills-based removal practice Dr. Tattoff, what you’re seeing isn’t a before or after, but rather, somewhere in between. Too often, when we see a paparazzi photo celebrity’s tattoo “removed,” what we’re really seeing is a star’s body in the middle of the slow process of nixing it.

During a proper removal procedure, “the laser comes in like a hammer and smashes the ink pigment, allowing your body’s immune system to more easily take it away,” Kirby explains. “Your body does half the work in removing a tattoo that way.”

In other words, that faded Marilyn we’re seeing? Those are blasted, weakened bits of ink that Fox’s own body is now working to finish off. Eventually, Kirby predicts, “it seems like she’ll probably see a full removal” of the image.

As for why Fox is really removing the image in the first place, sure, maybe she doesn’t want all that “negativity” around. And, yes, a lot of stars remove the tats after a breakup. But here’s another reason that you may not know: Stars hate sitting in a makeup chair. Kirby says that many of the celebs who use Dr. Tattoff tell the doctors there that they want to decrease their time in that makeup chair, so they’re getting their tats, well, off.

Mel Gibson and ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva pose during a premiere for Gibson’s latest film “Edge of Darkness.” The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department said they are looking into claims that Gibson physically abused his former girlfriend.

This is not the first of Gibson’s public troubles. He spoke with Diane Sawyer on ABC’s “Good Morning America” about his anti-Semitic outburst following a 2006 arrest for drunk driving.

The leading man was arrested for drunk driving after he was caught speeding and had a blood alcohol reading of 0.12 percent, according to authorities. He pleaded no contest and was sentenced to three years’ probabation, according to published reports.
