My only concern is were they properly screened by TSA agents before entering the active runway? If not, I say they should be promptly arrested and forced to submit to security procedures, including a full-shell patdown.

This was a humane and sane way of handling the situation, when I’ve experienced flight delays due to incompetence, computer glitches, or neglected aircraft maintenance. I’m glad the person on duty at the time who was in a position to make the decision on this is not an arrogagant human being, but rather one who understands that other species have a right to exist on this planet as well. I think when there is a split in the marriage it is really hard to get back to where it all started. I am not an avocate of divorce but 2nd split means it is time to maybe think about divorce. Encouraging people to create lists goes hand in hand with the recent relocation of the privacy settings to the area best known for inputting status updates and links.

Those of us who already have friend lists I have 16 of them have yet to see anything resembling a test of this nature. Perhaps if a feature goes live, it might suggest groupings of people that aren’t yet part of a list.

I haven& 039;t seen the ‘smart lists’ yet, but maybe it& 039;s because I already have friend lists too. They& 039;ve been a great way to categorize people much like some other service has been doing with those circles the techies have been fawning over.

I think the jacket is too not-fitted. It turns the outfit into a triangle shape that I’m not loving. If it were zipped, or tailored, or something, then I probably would like the combo. Maybe that’s why her expression is so sour grapes.

She is wearing a droopy leather jacket with a Catholic school-girl uniform with muppet hair at the bottom. This is decidedly not cute, but drab. And even in the dress, she kind of looks like a boy here. No. Not drinking the Kool-Aid today.

I think the jacket just needed to be a little bit shorter, so it hit at the waist of the dress instead of where the skirt is already flaring, for this to work. Fix that and I think it would look great.

There’s something fun about putting androgyny in a frilly dress and leather jacket, but it doesn’t really work with THIS dress. I kind of wish they’d gone all out and put her in menswear.

preteen clothes on post teen people just look wrong. And it looks more like an old fashioned ice skating outfit. Maybe the movie is really about Scottish skaters?

It looks amazing. I think the only problem is that this is the sort of look that works in a dark bar or atmospheric street scape. It just wasn’t made to pose prettily in front of a white screen patterned in GQ s. Give it a chance.

I think she looks very pretty, but I love tartan, and I love big flaring skirts, and I also love Emma Watson. So. I have to agree with Linda, though, a little bit of lipstick would have done wonders.

Yes, she needs lips and I don’t like the slicked hair, I just want to take my fingers and rough it up a little. The hair, not the lips. I voted cute for the outfit because doggone it, it is CUTE. A different jacket maybe. I don’t think it makes her look fat. And she is young! Let her be young.

The jacket’s not quite right, and I’m with witjunkie, rough slightly spiky hair would make a big difference here, but honestly, I think she should pass this off to Helena Bonham Carter next time they run into each other. And Helena will wear it with a sort of Gothic hunting jacket and maybe some pantaloons, and it will look gorgeously wack on her.

Emma is cute, but it’s a plain sort of cute, and she doesn’t have the bold attitude to pull off anything even this gently odd. She is better served by a more classic style.

I love it all, and I especially love that you could potentially wear this on a red-carpet then ditch the awards early to hit up a punk show or metal bar without looking too overdressed. Daisy Lowe or Leona Lewis definitely could not have done that

I saw dozens of pics of her smiling in this outfit, so perhaps we shouldn’t be too down on her besides, when’s the last time you saw any criticism of a famous male actor for not smiling? Hmm?

I’ve seen photos of her in this outfit where she smiles, and she looked gorgeous. And the outfit looked better. I think the lighting in this shot is terrible though, so maybe the better light in the other photos also helped.

Bathroom Cleaning Tips

Mildew thrives on bath and shower tiles. If you have a tiled bathroom, that is bad news as mildew is a health hazard, plus it also looks and smells unsightly.

Most clients of food banks have not yet come to a sense of personal responsibility in life. They are still in denial, blame or seeing the world as owing them,’ wrote Rev. David Durksen of the Unity Church of Victoria.

Ms. Prossen praised the work done by food banks, and said the church will still collect food for baskets but focus more on people’s spiritual hunger.

Now I don’t know about you, but I think that whatever Jesus died for it was not to expressly found a religion. And I always thought that if Jesus Christ had a religion, it was Judaism.

I am appalled. These people seem to think that religion is all about spirituality alone. Perhaps they recall that the Pharisees and Sadducees weren’t too happy about the people with whom Jesus associated. They were the street people of their time: prostitutes, tax collectors, lepers. Perhaps they don’t remember the parable of the wedding banquet: when those originally invited didn’t turn up, the bridegroom went out and gathered up all those on the streets to participate in the feast. Perhaps they think that the feeding of the five thousand was the feeding of five thousand Pharisees, or five thousand merchants.

When I was volunteering for the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighbourhood, I associated with street people of every kind. Some were not too presentable physically and could have used a bit of a cleanup. Some were the detritus of society: prostitutes, the unemployed and unemployable, transvestites and transexuals who lived rough because no one would house them. When I worked in the counselling office I saw 5 guests a day, and I didn’t throw them out if they weren’t my kind of person. As a Christian EVERY person is my kind of person. And they required not only spiritual food but also physical nourishment that their life circumstances couldn’t always provide for them. And we provided it for them. Not to say that I got any time off from Purgatory for this, or that anyone else did, for that matter. That’s not why this particular Christian church provided food for hungry people. It’s because that is exactly what Jesus expects of us.

My thanks (I think) to Criggo for pointing out this interesting article. And if you’re down-and-out in Winnipeg, you’ll have to go somewhere else for physical nourishment, as all you’ll get from the Unity Truth Center is a sermon, it seems.

On Madoff’s interactions with SAC Capital Chief Steve Cohen: ‘How does he know SAC relies on insider information? Madoff says that while he never met Steve Cohen,’ he once called Cohen and told ‘him to stop his managers from approaching my traders with their offer to give them info if we let SAC execute our commission business”

On SAC Capital’s response: ‘A spokesman for SAC Capital counters that Steven Cohen has never met or spoken with Bernard Madoff and any such assertion is absolutely false.”

‘Madoff contends he’s not really the world’s greatest swindler who with the help of a few clerks and back office people carried out a 2-decade long white collar crime spree. Rather, he’s somewhat of a victim who turned to crime as a way of dealing with unscrupulous Wall Street types that are found all over the financial services business.’

Dr. Keith Ablow on Madoff’s psychological state: ”Madoff developed an artificial sense of reality. Now even in prison he is trying to do the same thing.’

Ablow also says that enticing the media to believe he is still important with places like Harvard, or has inside knowledge into how Wall Street really works fills a pathological need for Madoff to make people believe he is special and capable of extraordinary talents as he has done for so long in his life.’ Ablow believes it’s that pathological narcissism’ that drove Madoff to prove to the world he was a great investor even if he had to lie and cheat his way to the top.’

Shrieks that have no utility other than to try to send a message to the woman on the other side of the net that Sharapova has just hit the living shit out of the ball.

According to US Davis Cup coach Patrick McEnroe, who weighed in on this issue after the match, Sharapova doesn’t scream like this in practice. That means her shrieking is not a weird, uncontrollable physical defect. That means that Sharapova is doing it intentionally (if unconsciously by now) and that she could stop doing it if someone with some authority told her to stop doing it.

Sharapova’s screaming is just a bogus physical intimidation technique like a howl with a karate chop and it should be banned. And Sharapova shouldn’t be singled out here: All the other screamers and shriekers on the tour–including the Williams sisters, who first popularized this method of intimidation–should be muzzled, too.
